Bell Mountain’s winery is located 14 miles north of
Fredericksburg on Hwy 16, in an area that was designated by
the federal government in 1986 by the federal government as
Texas’ first wine growing appellation. The vineyards were
established in 1976 with classic grape varieties. With
slopes at elevations near 2,000 feet, Bell Mountain was
first identified on the U.S. geological map of 1885. The
chateau-style winery is a state-of-the-art facility that
also offers a wine and gourmet food shop. Visit our Web site
